I was blog surfing, and found this in a recent blog post:

A month or two later, this blogger is at her new job after fielding several offers.

You're doing well if all you have to do is lie down. I'd be calling for a drink, or maybe a bottle of them.
Right, it's so much easier because now you can be sure that every job you apply for has about five hundred other people applying for it! I have heard, thought, that recruiters search sites like Linkdin (sp?) and Monster, so maybe there's something to it.
