I am writing this web log entry on Sunday, May 1, 2011, and dividing it up in pieces to be posted on the succeeding days.
6) Back to the subject of Pope JPII. In honor of his beautification, today the priest wore a stole with the John Paul II’s crest (an “I” and an “M” on a blue field). The priest wore the stole back in the late 1970’s when he concelebrated a Mass with the Pope in Chicago, Illinois. Wow! He said all the priests who concelebrated that Mass had the same stole.
